Britain's Jessica Ennis-Hill will compete at the Anniversary Games Diamond League meeting in London's Olympic Stadium on 24-25 July.

The 2012 Olympic heptathlon champion is returning to competition after giving birth to her son Reggie in July 2014.

In May, Ennis-Hill, 29, will take part in her first heptathlon since London 2012 at the Hypo-Meeting in Austria.

She is "realistic about the challenge of getting back to competitive shape" but is targeting the 2016 Rio Olympics.

An Achilles tendon injury brought an early end to the Sheffield athlete's 2013 season after a handful of single discipline events, but after giving birth she returned to training in October 2014.

"My race schedule is starting to take shape and it will be good to compete," she said. "My main goal this season is to be as competitive as possible with the long term goal being at the Rio Olympics."

Ennis-Hill, who was fourth in the 100m hurdles and eighth out of eight in the long jump at the 2013 Anniversary Games, is yet to specify which event she will compete in this year.
