Two more GB athletes have been selected for the World Championships in Beijing after successfully appealing to UK Athletics over their omission.

Jack Green was already in the men's 4x400m relay team but will also compete in his individual event, 400m hurdles.

Nigel Levine missed out when the squad was named in late July but has now been added to the men's 4x400m relay.

On Monday, reigning European champion Martyn Rooney was added to the men's 400m event after a successful appeal.

Last week, steeplechaser Lennie Waite and 10,000m runner Andy Vernon lost similar appeals over their omission from the GB squad.

The World Athletics Championships begin in the Chinese capital on Saturday, 22 August.
