Robertson and Wallwork defeated in Singapore semi-final

Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork's run at the Singapore Open ended with defeat in the semi-finals.
The Commonwealth silver medallists went down 21-12 21-15 against Chen Hung Ling and Cheng Wen Hsing of Taiwan.
Robertson had been hoping to add the mixed doubles to his 2009 men's doubles success with Anthony Clark.
This was only the second meeting between the two pairs, with the English National champions having lost to them 21-15 21-15 at the US Open last year.
And it was a similar outcome this time around as Chen and Cheng dominated the 29-minute contest, taking each game on their second game point as the England pair failed to reproduce the high level of play that had seen them cruise into the last four.
Robertson and Wallwork and the rest of the England squad now head to Jakarta for next week's Indonesia Open.
