Kirsty Gilmour's Scotland claimed bronze at the European Team Championships
Scotland have claimed bronze at badminton's European Women's Team Championships in Poland.
The Scots lost Saturday's semi-final to Spain as Kirsty Gilmour, Julie MacPherson and Rachel Sugden lost their respective matches. But having beaten Germany on Friday, Scotland can reflect on a positive campaign.
"Proud to bring a bronze home for Scotland. Physically it's been a tough week. I struggled to bring my A-game for match 7 on day 4," Gilmour said on X.
"Enjoyed every minute of being on court this week with the team."
