Worcester Wolves: Great Britain forward Orlan Jackman joins

Worcester Wolves have added Great Britain and England international forward Orlan Jackman to their roster.

The 27-year-old, who is 6ft 7in, is back in the British Basketball League for the first time since leaving London Lions at the end of the 2012-13 season.

"I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to win silverware in my own country," said Jackman., external

"That's the dream, and the reality is that they are working towards that at Worcester."

During his rookie season with the Lions, Jackman averaged 16 points per game and was named in the All-British BBL Team that year.

Orlan Jackman's international experience

Jackman was called into the Great Britain squad for the first time in 2013 having represented the national side at Under-16 and Under-20 level.

He played two friendlies - both against Scotland - for England in 2013.

A graduate of Oklahoma City University, Jackman returns to the UK after stints in Germany and Portugal.

Wolves head coach Paul James added: "He is a versatile player who can score in many different ways and can play in multiple positions.

"Orlan will also will also bring added toughness to the team at both ends of the floor. I'm very excited to have him on the team and really appreciate the hard work undertaken by the directors of the club in helping to make this possible."
