Scotland's Jason Banks could complete a hat-trick of victories when he meets England's Robert Paxton in Sunday's open singles final of the World Indoor Bowls Championships.

Banks beat Englishman Mark Dawes 8-4 8-4 and Paxton overcame Scotsman David Gourlay 11-2 5-10 2-1 in Saturday's semi-finals at Potters Resorts, Hopton-on-Sea.

With Michael Stepney, Banks has already won the open pairs title and also took the mixed pairs title with Beth Riva.

Paxton is hoping to end a five-year wait for a world singles title.

Sunday's final will be shown live on BBC Two and iPlayer from 14:40 GMT
