Katie Taylor: Showdown with Amanda Serrano called off because of coronavirus

Katie Taylor's highly anticipated encounter with Puerto Rican fighter Amanda Serrano has been called off because of the coronavirus crisis.
The bout between Taylor, the undisputed lightweight world champion and seven-weight belt winner Serrano was scheduled for Manchester on 2 May.
Dillian Whyte was to fight Alexander Povetkin for the interim WBC World Heavyweight title as part of the bill.
Matchroom Boxing confirmed on Monday that the card has been postponed.
The postponement of the Manchester Arena card follows an announcement by the British Boxing Board of Control that they were extending the suspension of all boxing under its jurisdiction until the end of May.
Taylor edged Belgium's Delfine Persoon in a close bout to become undisputed lightweight champion in June 2019.
Many observers felt Persoon had won the contest but Taylor got the decision to add the WBC lightweight belt to her IBF, WBO and WBA titles.
The 33-year-old then became a two-weight world champion in November when outpointing Greece's Christina Linardatou in Manchester to land the WBO light-welterweight belt and a 15th straight professional win.
