Katie Taylor: Eddie Hearn says Amanda Serrano most likely next opponent for Dubliner

Eddie Hearn says a rematch with Amanda Serrano is the most likely next fight for Irish star Katie Taylor.
Taylor, 37, suffered her first career defeat to Chantelle Cameron last May but avenged that loss in November.
With prospects of Taylor fighting Cameron again having seemingly diminished, a rematch with Serrano, 35, now appears a distinct possibility.
"It's an obvious fight for them both, the first one was a classic," said Matchroom boss Hearn.
Hearn added that there have been talks between Matchroom and Serrano's management, Most Valuable Promotions.
"At this point it is the favourite to be next but there's no deal closed, conversations continue."
The Las Vegas Sphere has been mentioned as a possible venue for a Taylor-Serrano rematch.
Taylor defeated Serrano in a thrilling contest at Madison Square Garden in April 2022.
The duo were scheduled to fight again in Dublin in May 2023 but an injury to the Puerto Rican led to the contest being called off.
Since then negotiations to arrange a rematch have proved unsuccessful, but Hearn's comments will increase speculation that they could be about to meet again later this year.
