Anthony McGrath hit a century as Yorkshire built up a considerable total on day two against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.
Resuming on 318-3 McGrath made 115 as the visitors were bowled out for 532 with Gary Ballance (76) and Gerard Brophy (53) adding half centuries.
Hampshire spinner Imran Tahir claimed figures of 6-132 in the innings.
The hosts ended the day's play on 116-2 in reply with Michael Carberry on 31 not out.
