Glamorgan v Middlesex - No play day one, rain |
Middlesex's pursuit of the Division Two title was held up as rain washed out the opening day of their clash with Glamorgan in Cardiff.
Middlesex need to collect 22 points from their final two games of the season to win promotion as champions.
However, they could only wait to get started as persistent showers made any play impossible.
Umpires Neil Mallender and Paul Baldwin inspected after lunch but further rain saw them call play off at 1450 BST.
