Yorkshire seamer Ajmal Shahzad has been fined £750 and warned over his future conduct after scuffing the pitch in a County Championship match.

The England international, 26, admitted to the offence in Yorkshire's penultimate game of the season against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Shahzad escaped further punishment because of his previously exemplary conduct.

He has played one test for England, against Bangladesh in 2010.
