Sussex batsman Yardy hits ton to make Lancashire suffer

Michael Yardy scored a century as Sussex look set for victory against last year's champions Lancashire.

The visitors resumed day two on 137-3 and Yardy's 110, which included nine fours, helped them post 300 all out.

Luke Procter (3-48) and Glen Chapple (3-61) were the pick of the bowlers, while Simon Kerrigan took 2-43.

Australian Steve Magoffin (3-14) then helped reduce Lancashire to 85-4 in their second innings, still trailing by 91 runs.
