Sam Northeast's t20 performances impress Geraint Jones

Kent wicketkeeper Geraint Jones praised the performance of Sam Northeast after their 48-run FL t20 defeat to Middlesex.
The 22-year-old opened the batting for the Spitfires, hitting 60 off 43 balls.
Jones told BBC Radio Kent: "The way he has played with the white ball is good for the future.
"He's been batting in the middle order but to come in and open like that in place of Rob Key showed real class. He's going from strength to strength."
He added: "Sam's power element has been a really encouraging thing.
"At Essex the other day he came in and hit sixes straight away. That's something he's worked hard on.
"It's frustrated him in the past but the proof is in the way he is doing it. The hard work is paying off."
Kent currently sit third in the South Group after two wins from their six games, but Jones believes they must improve their bowling in order to make it through to the quarter-finals.
"Our last two games haven't been our best with the ball," he added. "The plans are ok, it's just the execution at the moment.
"We've been stung by a couple of defeats and we've got to learn from it.
"We've got time to work on that before we get to Sussex on Friday."
