Kent 5pts, Glamorgan 2pts |
Kent compiled a big first-innings total on a rain-affected second day of their County Championship Division Two match against Glamorgan.
Resuming on 310-4, Kent quickly lost overnight centurions Brendan Nash (114) and Darren Stevens (123) to the bowling of Huw Waters (2-49).
Geraint Jones (69 not out), Matt Coles (26) and Mark Davies (24) steered the hosts to maximum batting bonus points.
James Harris finished with 5-118 as Kent ended the day on 456-9.
It was the promising Glamorgan bowler's first five-wicket haul of an injury-hit and rain-ruined summer.
