Richard Johnson re-joins Derbyshire from Warwickshire

Derbyshire have re-signed Warwickshire wicketkeeper Richard Johnson on loan for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old was recalled from his loan stint at the County Ground following an injury to Tim Ambrose.

But he has been allowed to rejoin as cover for the injured Tom Poynton.

Head coach Karl Krikken said: "The signing of Richard increases our strength in depth in a key position. It will allow Tom Poynton the opportunity to fully recover from his injury."
