Former England paceman Simon Jones is an injury concern for the start of Glamorgan's Twenty20 campaign.

Jones missed T20 warm-up victory over a South Wales Premier League XI and Glamorgan are awaiting the results of a shoulder scan.

The 34-year-old, who was Glamorgan's leading wicket-taker during the rain-ruined 2012 campaign also missed the YB40 win at Leicestershire.

Glamorgan face Worcestershire in their opening T20 game on Friday.

"We're in the hands of the specialists but he has some problems with his shoulder that aren't fully diagnosed yet" said coach Matthew Mott.

"Fingers crossed he's alright because when he's fit and firing he'd be a heck of a boost particularly in those middle overs for us."

Kiwi all-rounder Nathan McCullum will join up with the squad at Worcester after featuring in the New Zealand T20 team taking on England

Mark Wallace, Murray Goodwin and Michael Hogan are all set to return for Friday's match after being rested for the warm-up on Tuesday.
