Only 23 balls of play were possible as Derbyshire ended the first day of their County Championship Division Two game against against Worcestershire on 3-2.

After losing two sessions, play finally got underway after tea at 16:30 BST.

But the hosts had the better of it, claiming wickets in successive overs.

Gareth Andrew bowled Billy Godleman for 3, then Charlie Morris struck at the other end, removing ex-Worcestershire opener Stephen Moore for an 11-ball duck on his return to New Road.
