Nottinghamshire 182-5 (20 ovs) beat Lancashire 149 (18.3 ovs) by 33 runs |
Samit Patel was on form with both bat and ball as Nottinghamshire eased to a 33-run T20 Blast win over Lancashire.
After Michael Lumb (39) and James Taylor (30) set the platform, Patel hit six boundaries in making 56 off 41 balls in the home side's 182-5.
Patel, who is the leading wicket-taker and run-scorer in Notts' T20 history, then took 2-25, while Steven Mullaney finished with 3-46.
Only Jordan Clark (44) offered any real resistance in Lancashire's 149 all out.
The majority of the 10,971 crowd went when James Anderson was bowled by Harry Gurney (2-25) for a golden duck to wrap up the Nottinghamshire victory.
