Gloucestershire 154-7 beat Kent 150-6 by three wickets

Gloucestershire beat Kent by three wickets in a dramatic final-ball T20 Blast thriller at Nevil Road.

Daniel Bell-Drummond (32) gave Kent a solid start and Sam Northeast's highest T20 score of 75 off 49 balls, including four sixes, pushed them to 150-6.

Mitch Claydon (3-24) took two wickets in three balls to reduce the hosts to 17-2 and the chase looked unlikely.

But Adam Rouse (35 not out), who joined Gloucestershire on a one-month trial last week, hit 12 off the final over.

Gloucestershire slumped to 89-5 in the 15th over as Benny Howell (26) became Claydon's third wicket.

Will Gidman (22) hit two sixes in his 13-ball knock and Jack Taylor added 19 off 10 balls.

Rouse smashed a six off the final ball of the penultimate over to leave 12 required from the last six deliveries.

Tom Smith scrambled three off the first two balls and Rouse then hit two fours to leave scores level.

Rouse was unable to score off Doug Bollinger's fifth ball, but found a boundary with the game's last ball to end it in style.
