Sussex Sharks 153-5 (18.3 overs) beat Glamorgan 151-8 (20 overs) by five wickets

Luke Wright's half-century was the platform for Sussex's five-wicket T20 Blast victory over Glamorgan.

The visitors made a bright start as Jacques Rudolph smashed 62 off 50 balls, but Glamorgan slipped from 59-0 to 79-4 as Will Beer took 3-14.

Murray Goodwin (35) then hit four boundaries to push Glamorgan to 151-8.

Wright (66) hit three sixes and seven fours in his 39-ball knock and Sussex kept alive their slim quarter-final hopes, winning with nine balls left.

Matt Machan made an unbeaten 33 and Beer hit the winning four off Will Owen's bowling.

Sussex move up to sixth in the South Group with two games remaining in their qualifying campaign.

They are two points behind fourth-placed Surrey but have played at least one more game than the teams around them.

Glamorgan remain third, with 13 points from 12 games.
