Derbyshire have signed specialist Twenty20 fast bowler Nathan Rimmington for the T20 Blast in 2015.
The 32-year-old plays for Melbourne Renegades in Australia's Big Bash and is one of the leading wicket-takers since the league's inception in 2011.
Elite performance director Graeme Welch said: "Nathan brings a wealth of experience bowling at the death."
Derbyshire signed veteran Sri Lanka batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan earlier this week.
Rimmington has played 59 Twenty20 games in total, claiming 65 wickets at an average of around 21 and registering an economy rate of just above seven runs per over.
Derbyshire hope to bring the right-arm seamer, who also has a British passport, to the club in April so he can play some league cricket and get "match fit and settled" ahead of the T20 season, which begins in May.
Welch added: "People will have watched him in the Big Bash and know the quality he will bring to the side.
"Not only will he be a valuable asset at the end of the innings, he will also provide us with a proven strike bowler with the new ball."
