Glamorgan fast bowler Graham Wagg believes Friday's T20 Blast game against Middlesex is a "must-win" if they are to stay in contention for the knockout stages.

The Welsh county got their campaign off to an impressive start when they beat Surrey by 25 runs at the Oval.

But they have since lost back-to-back home games against Essex and Hampshire.

"If we do lose this one, maybe we set our sights on other things," said Wagg.

"This is a must-win game for us in the T20."

Although Glamorgan have stumbled in the T20, Toby Radford's side have been in fine form in the County Championship.

The county recorded their first back-to-back wins in the four-day format for four years when they beat Northants on Wednesday.

And Wagg hopes Glamorgan's Championship form can lift their ailing T20 efforts.

"We are fully aware of that and I think we're going to have to put that right tomorrow [Friday] night," he added.

"If we do, we're back in the competition so it's a huge game for us."
