Jacques Rudolph praises Glamorgan character in T20 win

Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph praised his side's character after they claimed a first home T20 Blast win of the season against Middlesex.
After an opening triumph away at Surrey, the Welsh county suffered successive home defeats to Essex and Hampshire.
But victory against Middlesex keeps alive Glamorgan's hopes of reaching the T20 knockout stages.
"It was a very satisfying win," said Rudolph, who hit 60 from 34 balls.
"We started off like a house on fire against Surrey and we had two speed bumps along the way but nice to get another win under the belt, especially at home.
"Just getting some confidence back into the dressing room was important."
After Rudolph's knock helped the hosts post 169-5, Glamorgan's hopes of winning appeared to be dwindling when Dawid Malan's destructive 70 put Middlesex in control.
But a disciplined bowling display from the likes of Graham Wagg, Craig Meschede and Michael Hogan secured Glamorgan a nerve-jangling four-run win.
"In this format you can peg teams back if you can take a couple of wickets regardless of what you are chasing," said Rudolph.
"There was a real energy that we were going to win that game and you had Graham Wagg bowling at the death.
"Not only his bowling, he is the kind of character who thrives on the pressure and he showed again why he is a big part of our bowling unit."
One concern for Glamorgan is the fitness of South African fast bowler Wayne Parnell, who was taken off the field after he bowled his four overs against Middlesex.
Parnell missed the first two matches of the T20 Blast with a groin injury, but Rudolph insists the decision to take him off was only a precautionary measure.
"He was struggling a little with his groin and that was the reason he bowled through," the captain added.
"We just felt if he had to return later on he would have struggled.
"We think it is more of a precaution and we have a week's rest and preparation [before facing Gloucestershire] so he should be fine."
