Nottinghamshire have signed Australian all-rounder Dan Christian to replace Darren Sammy for the rest of their T20 Blast campaign.
Christian, 32, has made 34 one-day international appearances and has played in the Indian Premier League.
He replaces West Indies all-rounder Sammy, who is off to the Caribbean Premier League after a four-game stint.
"Dan is an aggressive and entertaining batsman and also has lots of know-how," said director of cricket Mick Newell.
"He tends to score his runs quickly and he also provides a very good option with the ball, which you need plenty of in T20 cricket."
