Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph says the Welsh county's 10-wicket T20 Blast defeat to Sussex was their worst performance of the season.

Sussex completed their comprehensive win with 7.4 overs to spare at the SSE Swalec Stadium on Sunday.

Glamorgan are now sixth in the nine-team South Group, but still with a chance of reaching the knockout stages.

"I'm very disappointed. I thought it was potentially our worst display of this season," said Rudolph.

"I think it's important when it comes to halfway through the season that the team really has to try and stick together."

Glamorgan's defeat was their second in three days, having lost to Essex on Friday.

That result ended a sequence of six successive wins in all forms of the game for the Welsh county.

They are back in County Championship Division Two action against Leicestershire on Monday, and Rudolph hopes his side can rediscover their earlier form.

"Like I've said from the start of the campaign, a lot is about momentum," the South African added.

"We had good momentum with three [T20] wins previously and we've just lost a little bit.

"We've got another four-day game coming up this week. We've been doing really well so we've got to get that momentum back."
