Warriors and Knights in Inter-Pro draw

James Shannon hit 59 runs for Northern Knights in the Inter-Provincial draw on Thursday

The three-day Inter-Provincial ended in a draw after North-West Warriors gained a 41 first innings lead and by the close Northern Knights were 225-5 in their second innings at Bready.

A draw was not unexpected after the rain delays over the past couple of days.

The Warriors concluded their innings this morning on 318 with Andy McBrine contributing a valuable 82 which included four sixes and three boundaries.

In reply the visitor's third-wicket partnership between James McCollum and James Shannon put on 126 valuable runs after their second disappointing start to an innings.
