Tom Abell: Somerset add One-Day Cup role to captain's duties

Tom Abell has been Somerset's four-day captain since the start of last season
Batsman Tom Abell will captain Somerset in the One-Day Cup next summer, as well as continuing his role as skipper in the County Championship.
The 23-year-old replaces Australia-born all-rounder Jim Allenby, who left the county at the end of the 2017 season.
Abell has averaged 38.11 in 12 50-over games since his debut in July 2015, with a highest score of 106.
Somerset reached the One-Day Cup quarter-finals last term, before losing to eventual winners Notts Outlaws.
