Ed Joyce: Ireland defeat Sussex testimonial match

Ireland T20 captain Gary Wilson scored an 18-ball half century as Ireland defeated Sussex by six wickets in the Ed Joyce testimonial at Arundel Castle.
Joyce, 39, was caught at mid-wicket for nine in his final game as Sussex finished their 20 overs on 135-8.
Wilson reached his 50 by hitting four consecutive sixes as Ireland reached the required total in the 15th over
The game was useful preparation for Ireland ahead of their first T20 against India on Wednesday.
Joyce captained Sussex for three-and-a-half years and played for Ireland more than 100 times.
His final international appearance was in Ireland's first ever men's Test match against Pakistan last month.
Joyce announced his retirement from all forms of cricket following that Test and is set to join Ireland's coaching set-up as performance batting and leadership coach.
Ireland's qualifiers for the World T20 in 2020 will be held next year, therefore Cricket Ireland are keen for their side play regular 20 over cricket in the lead up to those games.
They take on India in two matches at Malahide on Wednesday and Friday.
