Middlesex seamer Toby Roland-Jones and all-rounder Martin Andersson have signed new deals with the club.

England right-armer Roland-Jones, 31, has played 218 times for Middlesex since making his debut in 2010 and has had his deal extended until 2022.

He played in four Tests and a one-day international for England in 2017 before suffering with back injuries.

"Now, more than ever, there's a great atmosphere and hunger in the dressing room to achieve success," he said.

Middlesex head coach Stuart Law said: "His leadership will be essential to bring the younger members of our squad up to the standards required for success at this level."

Berkshire-born Andersson, 23, is now tied to Lord's until 2021.

After being loaned out to Derbyshire in 2018, Andersson made his first-team breakthrough with Middlesex, only to then miss most of the 2019 season with a double stress fracture of the back.

But he came back at the end for two Championship matches, making 83 against Division Two champions Lancashire.

"The support I've received from the club has been fantastic," said Andersson. "I am excited and looking forward to the next couple of years."
