David Lloyd: Championship captain's Glamorgan finale in doubt due to injury

Glamorgan's Championship captain David Lloyd may not play for the club again after suffering a cracked rib on loan at Derbyshire.
Lloyd was due to re-join Glamorgan for the last three Championship matches.
The 31-year-old is moving to Derbyshire on a permanent basis at the end of the season after 12 years with the Welsh county.
Lloyd was hurt during Derbyshire's One Day Cup match against Warwickshire.
He was hit by a ball from Henry Brookes while batting and appeared to aggravate the injury while fielding on the boundary.
"It's been a frustrating week or so personally," admitted Lloyd.
"It was a strange one, sometimes you know when it's a bad one when you get hit. There was a lot of discomfort but I carried on which wasn't maybe the best thing, and maybe did a bit more damage to it.
"I felt the crack (when fielding) and the physio wasn't happy, so it's frustrating to miss the last couple of (One Day Cup) games for Derbyshire," he told BBC Radio Derby.
"Throwing this injury into the mix, it's probably unlikely that I might play any more cricket this season.
"It can be a bit strange (going back and forth between clubs) and with this injury added in, it makes it even more strange, but I've loved getting to know all the people around here (at Derbyshire)."
Kiran Carlson is likely to resume the captaincy of Glamorgan's Championship side after deputising for Lloyd during an earlier injury, if he fails to regain fitness.
Eddie Byrom, who also missed the middle of the season through injury, is likely to form an opening partnership with Zain Ul Hassan.
Glamorgan are third in division two of the Championship and have an outside chance of promotion, but have played a game more than two of their rivals.
