Brad Currie and Harrison Ward: Duo sign new T20 deals with Sussex

Bowler Brad Currie signed a short-term deal with Sussex in March before extending his stay for 2024

Bowler Brad Currie and batter Harrison Ward have signed T20 contracts with Sussex for 2024.

Currie, 24, signed a one-year deal with Sussex in March after impressing on his debut during 2022.

The Scot, who has played 12 T20 matches for the club, took a sensational diving catch on on the boundary during the win against Hampshire Hawks this year.

Ward, 24, scored 165 runs in seven matches for Sussex during this season's Blast campaign.

"Harrison is an aggressive top order batter who I think we can keep improving and help us with our approach to T20 cricket," Sussex head coach Paul Farbrace said, external.

"Brad showed high quality with the ball and in the field last season in T20 cricket. He swings the new ball and can bowl in all three phases"
