Durham sign seamer Conners from Derbyshire

Durham have signed seamer Sam Conners on a two-year deal from Derbyshire for the 2025 season.
The 25-year-old will be available in all formats for the 2025 and 2026 seasons having turned down the offer of a new contract with Derbyshire.
Conners made his senior debut in 2019 and took 167 wickets in 90 matches in all formats.

“I can’t wait to get going in the winter and I’m ready to contribute my all to this club.”
Conners' breakthrough season came in 2022, when he took 50 wickets in the County Championship which included a career best 5-51 against Leicestershire.
He later earned an England Lions call-up, going on to feature against South Africa's Test squad, when he claimed figures of 4-25.
