Sussex batter Tom Haines has signed a new deal with the club through until at least the end of 2027.
Haines scored 819 runs at an average of 40.95 last season as Sussex won the County Championship Division Two title.
The 26-year-old left-handed opener is a product of the Sussex youth system and made his first-class debut for the club aged just 17.
"I'm really pleased to have signed a new contract," Haines said. "It was great to be scoring runs last year and helping the team win Division Two.
"The club is going in a good direction and I am looking forward to the next few seasons which can hopefully bring some more silverware."
Sussex's 2025 County Championship campaign gets under way at the start of April when they visit Warwickshire in their first match back in Division One.
