Australian seam bowler Riley Meredith will return to Somerset for a third time in 2026 for the Vitality Blast campaign.
The 29-year-old was the top wicket-taker in the competition this season with 28 wickets in 14 matches as Somerset clinched their third Blast title, having also been part of the side that reached the final in 2024.
Meredith follows South African all-rounder Migael Pretorious, teenage all-rounder Archie Vaughan and spin bowler Jack Leach to agree new terms with the club in recent weeks.
"Riley played an integral part in our success this summer and we're delighted to be bringing a player of his quality back to the club," said director of cricket Andy Hurry.
"His genuine pace and aggression will always trouble batters and he brings something different to our attack."
Meredith's new deal means he is available for Somerset for the duration of the Blast campaign next season.
