Grewcock joins England T20 World Cup training camp

Jodi Grewcock is heading out to Abu Dhabi to link up with England Women's T20 squad

Jodi Grewcock has been called up to the England Women's T20 World Cup training camp.

The Essex batter is heading to Abu Dhabi where she will be part of the preparations for the tournament later this month.

Grewcock, 21, has scored 111 runs in five innings for Essex this season at an average of 37.

She also took 2-15 with her leg-spin against The Blaze.

The Women's World Cup takes place in India and Sri Lanka from 30 September through to 2 November and England begin their campaign in Guwahati against South Africa on 3 October.
