Who needs what to reach IPL play-offs?

The play-off schedule for the 2025 Indian Premier League has been confirmed at the conclusion of the group stage.
Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians will contest the qualifiers and the eliminator to try and book their place in the final on 3 June.

IPL table as it stands
Each team plays 14 matches in the IPL group stage with the top four reaching the play-offs. Each win is worth two points.

IPL qualification permutations
Punjab Kings (qualified)
Position: First Played: 14 Points: 19
Punjab sealed their place in the play-offs on 18 May with victory over Rajasthan combined with Delhi's defeat by Gujarat.
They secured a top-two finish by defeating Mumbai Indians in their final game to leapfrog Gujarat into first place.
They finish equal on points with Royal Challengers Bengaluru but maintain top spot via net run-rate.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (qualified)
Position: Second Played: 14 Points: 19
RCB qualified for the play-offs after their match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 17 May was abandoned because of rain.
They beat Lucknow Super Giants in their final match to secure second place in the table.
Gujarat Titans (qualified)
Position: Third Played: 14 Points: 18
Gujarat Titans lost top spot when Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians in the penultimate regular season match, and then slipped to third when Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Lucknow Super Giants to conclude the group stage.
Mumbai Indians (qualified)
Position: Fourth Played: 14 Points: 16
Mumbai secured their play-off spot with victory over Delhi Capitals on Wednesday.
They lost to Punjab Kings in their final group match to miss out on a top-two finish, meaning they will have to win two games to reach the final.

29 May: Qualifier 1 - first v second (Punjab Kings v Royal Challengers Bengaluru)
30 May: Eliminator - third v fourth (Gujarat Titans v Mumbai Indians)
1 June: Qualifier 2 - loser of Qualifier 1 v winner of Eliminator
3 June: Final - winner of Qualifier 1 v winner of Qualifier 2
Who has been eliminated?
Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings, last year's champions Kolkata Knight Riders and runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad plus Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants have all been eliminated.
