Hampshire Hawks have signed Australian all-rounder Hilton Cartwright for the remainder of the T20 Blast group campaign.
The 33-year-old joins the county following Dewald Brevis and Lhuan-dre Pretorius being called up to the South Africa Test squad.
Cartwright has previously played for Derbyshire and Middlesex and has played 103 matches in the Big Bash League, scoring 2,000 runs.
"He's a dynamic cricketer and will be a great addition to the team as we push for the knock-out stages," said Hampshire director of cricket Giles White.
Hampshire have won three out of their eight Blast matches so far and are away at Sussex Sharks on Saturday, 5 July in their next game, with Cartwright available for six matches.
