Hampshire batter Middleton signs new contract

Hampshire batter Fletcha Middleton has signed a two-year contract extension.
The 23-year-old top-order batter - who came up through the club's academy - will stay at the Utilita Bowl to the end of the 2027 season.
Middleton's average of 50.60 in this season's One-Day Cup was the highest in his List A career - he scored 92 at Gloucestershire late last month.
He has scored over 1,800 first-class runs at an average of 28.72 over his career, while he has also amassed more than 1,100 runs in limited overs cricket.
