Hampshire have signed Australian all-rounder and New South Wales captain Jack Edwards on a short-term deal.
The 24-year-old will join the county for just the first two months of the season across April and May.
Edwards has previously played alongside former Hampshire skipper James Vince for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League.
"I'm looking forward to getting stuck in with Hampshire for the first couple of months of the season." Edwards said.
"I've played alongside James Vince for the last few years and have gotten to know him pretty well so it's great to know I'll be playing under the Rose and Crown.
"Watching from afar, the club has been really close to winning titles across formats the last few years so hopefully I can help the team go one step further in 2025."
The right-handed batter and pace bowler has scored 1,751 runs and taken 68 wickets in 39 first-class matches.
Hampshire are at home to Yorkshire in their opening County Championship game of the new season, starting on 4 April, having finished as runners-up to champions Surrey last summer.
