Worcestershire batter Adam Hose has signed a new three-year contract to stay with the county until the end of the 2027 season.
The 32-year-old joined the Pears from rivals Warwickshire on a three-year deal ahead of the 2023 season.
Hose has scored 1,092 first-class runs from 41 innings at an average of 28 since moving to New Road from Edgbaston with the promise of playing more red-ball cricket.
In his time with Worcestershire, he has helped the club win promotion to the top division of the County Championship and then to a sixth-place finish in Division One in 2024.
"I'm really happy to sign the contract," Hose said., external "It is giving a fair chunk of the next part of my career to the club.
"They were first to come in when I was looking to move [from Warwickshire] and offered all-formats cricket which was the reason for me leaving clubs.
"For them to back me and show faith in me like they have done over the last couple of years has been brilliant."

A regular T20 franchise player around the world, Hose is approaching 700 runs for the Pears in the 20-over format, averaging 32 with three half-centuries so far.
Although yet to hit a red-ball ton for Worcestershire, his 526 runs last season, helped the club stay up in a campaign badly affected by repeated flooding and the sudden death of spinner Josh Baker at the age of 20 in May.
"Obviously [it was] a very difficult season last year in terms of things off the field," Hose said.
"But I think it shows amazing character within the playing group and the club itself that we had such a strong finish, especially within the red-ball side.
"I'm really happy to commit myself to the club."
