Northamptonshire have lost all-rounder Ravi Bopara and fast bowler Raphael Weatherall for the rest of the season to injury.
Bopara ruptured the tendon in a finger on his right hand while attempting a caught and bowled during the MAX60 tournament in the Cayman Islands.
The 39-year-old has had surgery and now faces three weeks out, which rules him out of the Vitality T20 Blast quarter-final against Somerset next Thursday.
The former England all-rounder would also miss finals day on 14 September if Northants make it through.
Weatherall, 19, who has made 10 appearances since his first-team debut in June, suffered a stress fracture in his back and will begin his recovery for the 2025 season.
