Batter Billy Root has signed a new deal to stay at Glamorgan for the 2025 season.
The 32-year-old has become a mainstay since joining the club in 2019, helping them win the Metro Bank One Day Cup in 2021 and 2024.
Root has scored 3,326 first class runs, as well as 1,217 in list A and 357 in T20 cricket.
"I've really enjoyed my time here over the last six seasons and I feel we're really close to seeing something special happening at the club. I'm looking forward to being a part of that," said Root, brother of England batter Joe.
Glamorgan director of cricket Mark Wallace said: "Billy has been a quality performer during his time at Glamorgan and it's great that he's committed to the club for next season.
"Billy has shown his adaptability and selflessness over the last few seasons, taking up several different roles in the line-up and we look forward to seeing him on the field with us in 2025."
