1. DC beat RR in super overpublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 16 April

    Finished in style!

KL Rahul sneaks two, uppercuts a four and then taps a single to leave Delhi Capitals need five off three balls.

Tristan Stubbs just needs one - smashing the next delivery deep into the stands over mid-wicket to secure victory.

It means Delhi move back top of the 2025 IPL table with their fifth win in six games.

Rajasthan have now lost five of their first seven matches.

  2. DC need 12 to winpublished at 0.5 overs

    RR 11-2

    Chaos. Two fours. A back-foot no-ball. And two run-outs.

It all adds up to Rajasthan Royals only using five balls of the super over and only making 11.

Delhi Capitals need 12 to win.

Tristan Stubbs and KL Rahul to bat for Delhi. Sandeep Sharma to bowl for Rajasthan.

  3. Match tied - SUPER OVERpublished at 20 overs

    RR 188-4

Rajasthan Royals needed nine from the final over but Mitchell Starc comes up with six sublime deliveries to ensure the visitors could only score eight.

Scores tied, which means the first super over of the 2025 IPL...

The Royals will bat first, with Hetmyer and Parag. Starc, unsurprisingly, will bowl for Delhi Capitals,

  4. RR 94-1published at 10 overs

Royals need 95 off 60 balls

Rajasthan Royals look on top at the halfway stage of the chase.

The visitors have reached 94-1 - effectively halfway to their target and with plenty of wickets in hand. However, they are effectively two down, with captain Sanju Samson having retired hurt.

Fellow opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is going well on 45 not out off 27 balls and Delhi Capitals will need to remove him quickly to put the squeeze on the rest of the Royals line-up.

Rajasthan need 95 off the last 10 overs.

  5. DC 188-5published at 20 overs

    Royals need 189 to win

Delhi Capitals have scrapped their way to a challenging total of 188-5 against Rajasthan Royals.

England fast bowler Jofra Archer (2-32) took the key wicket of Delhi captain KL Rahul for 38, while Abishek Porel fell for 49 to Wanindu Hasaranga to leave the hosts 105-4 in the 14th over.

But contributions from Tristan Stubbs (34 not out off 18 balls) and Axar Patel (34 off 14) helped Delhi hit 77 off the last five overs.

A ragged final over by Sandeep Sharma, including four wides and a no-ball, went for 18 to boost the Capitals.

    Rajasthan need 189 to win.

  6. DC 76-2published at 10 overs

    Porel 40* (27), Rahul 27* (24)

Delhi Capitals have made a solid, if unspectacular, start to their innings in reaching 76-2 off 10 overs.

After a fast start by Abishek Porel, fellow opener Jake Fraser-McGurk fell cheaply to England fast bowler Jofra Archer, before Karun Nair was run out for a duck soon after.

But Porel and KL Rahul have rebuilt to give the hosts a solid platform.

The Capitals will hope with two set batters and wickets in hand they can propel themselves towards 200.

Welcome to coverage of today's IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.

The Royals have won the toss and elected to bowl first so it's up to the Capitals to set an imposing target.

Delhi are looking to get back to winning ways after their first defeat of the season against Mumbai Indians last time out, having won their opening four matches.

A win today would take them back to the top of the table, above Gujarat Titans.

Rajasthan have won two and lost four of their six matches so far and sit eighth in the table.
