    Mumbai Indians are well on their way to winning against Kolkata Knight Riders, reaching 62-1 from seven overs while chasing 117.

    • Mumbai introduced Rohit Sharma as an impact sub to open the innings, and he and Ryan Rickelton put on 46 for the opening wicket.
    • Their stand was ended in the final over of the powerplay when Rohit toe-ended Andre Russell's delivery to Harshit Rana at mid-off for 13.
    • England all-rounder Will Jacks has joined Rickelton in the middle.

    Mumbai Indians will be confident they can secure a first win in this year's Indian Premier League after bowling Kolkata Knight Riders out for 116.

    • IPL debutant Ashwani Kumar took 4-24 for Mumbai, following up his dismissal of Ajinkya Rahane by having Rinku Singh caught for 17 then bowling Manish Pandey (19) and Andre Russell (5).
    • That left KKR 88-8 in the 13th over, but number nine Ramandeep Singh helped his side past the 100 mark.
    • Ramandeep was the last wicket to fall, caught at short third off the bowling of Mitchell Santner for 22, as KKR's innings closed inside the 17th over.

    Mumbai Indians are right on top as they search for their first win:

    • Kolkata Knight Riders are 69-5 after 10 overs.
    • Trent Boult bowled Sunril Narine for a duck in the first over and Quinton de Kock was caught for one in the next.
    • 23-year-old left-arm quick Ashwani Kumar took a wicket with his first ball in the IPL by having Ajinkya Rahane caught at deep point.
    • Deepak Chahar has also had Venkatesh Iyer caught behind while Angkrish Raghuvanshi was dismissed by Mumbai skipper Hardik Pandya for 26.

    Five-time champions Mumbai Indians are still searching for their first win of this year's Indian Premier League as they host Kolkata Knight Riders.

    Mumbai were comfortably beaten by Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans in their first two matches.

    Defending champions KKR lost the opening match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru but thrashed Rajasthan Royals last week.

    Will Jacks is back for Mumbai Indians while Moeen Ali has dropped out of the KKR line-up with Sunil Narine fit again.

    Rohit Sharma has not been named in Mumbai's initial XI but looks likely to come in as an impact sub with Mumbai bowling first.
