  1. Aus 82-1published at 13 overs

Double bowling change and it'll be spin at both end as Deepti Sharma comes on to bowl her off-breaks.

Just a couple of singles from the over and the switch to spin has immediately slowed Australia's scoring.

Harmanpreet Kaur missed a trick not using spin in the powerplay. India needed to do something different - they did the same thing for 11 overs.

  3. Aus 80-1published at 12 overs

The first ball skidded on but there plenty of turn for Sree Charani, coming back in and cramping Phoebe Litchfield a couple of times as she tries to cut.

She does get a cut away in the end but just for a single out to deep point.

  4. Aus 79-1published at 11.1 overs

It is time for a bit of spin. Slow left-armer Sree Charani is into the attack and beats Phoebe Litchfield with one that skids on to start the over.

Phoebe Litchfield is latching onto anything loose. She does not mind going aerial and she does it with such ease.

    Dominant.

  6. Aus 79-1published at 11 overs

Renuka Singh Thakur keeps going but so do Australia.

Wide ball in the slot from Thakur and Phoebe Litchfield wallops it over extra cover to add to the boundary count.

Surely it is time for India to turn to spin because the seamers are getting the treatment.

This has been really surprising to see Kranti Gaud bowl her fifth over while her line is still completely off.

These are easy pickings for Ellyse Perry.

  8. Aus 72-1published at 10 overs

A couple of freebies from Kranti Gaud in the last over of the powerplay.

The first is angled onto the pads of Ellyse Perry, who flicks it away behind square for four.

Next is a full toss that Perry can just punch down the ground for four more.

Make that three freebies... short, wide and coolly cut away by Perry.

An expensive over to end a very good powerplay for Australia.

A good over from Renuka Singh Thakur.

I wonder if India could have brought on some spin in the powerplay instead just to create some change.

It is amazing how four dot balls can put pressure on a player, even if they are on 35 from 30.

  11. Aus 60-1published at 9 overs

    Edged... but four.

Superb over from Renuka Singh Thakur with four dot balls to start against Phoebe Litchfield.

That creates a bit of pressure and possibly leads to the loose shot from the left-hander, wafting at a ball outside off.

But luck is with Litchfield and the ball goes wide of slip and away to the deep third boundary.

This looks a lovely pitch to bat on and Australia will be disappointed if they cannot make the most of it.

Renuka Singh Thakur is managing to get her line and length right and she is using her variations well.

  13. Aus 56-1published at 8 overs

    Perry 6, Litchfield 35

Change of angle from Kranti Gaud after a poor start to the over, going round the wicket to Phoebe Litchfield.

It keeps the left-hander quieter with the only further run from the over coming via a thick inside edge to square leg.

India have been sloppy in the last few overs and Richa Ghosh should be doing better behind the stumps.

  15. Aus 55-1published at 7.2 overs

Alyssa Healy struggled, Ellyse Perry is battling but Phoebe Litchfield is off to a flyer.

She drives elegantly through backward point for her sixth boundary already as Kranti Gaud overpitches, wide outside off.

Four more. Another crisp drive but it's shocking fielding at point to help the ball through. Should have been a dot ball.

Oh dear, very sloppy again from India. A leg-side wide and Richa Ghosh makes a meal of it behind the stumps and it's away for five wides.

Ellyse Perry has not found her rhythm with the bat in this tournament so far. She has been lucky but Renuka Singh Thakur is all over her at the moment.

  17. Aus 41-1published at 7 overs

It has been a nervy start from Ellyse Perry and she very nearly chops on the ball after surviving a review.

Instead, the ball misses the stumps and goes away for four.

A play and miss follows before Perry gets to the safety of the non-striker's end with a single.

  18. Not outpublished at 6.1 overs

    Aus 35-1

    Missing leg by a distance.

It looked that way on first viewing and Renuka Singh Thakur's reaction after it was given suggested she thought so, too.

Well bowled to catch Ellyse Perry on the crease but it swung too much.

Ellyse Perry is asking her partner and it goes upstairs.

    It looks very close.
