Uh oh. Kim Garth looses her line and the ball rattles away to the rope. She goes up for lbw, Sue Redfern gives her four leg byes instead.

Hamranpreet Kaur connects nicely with the next one, smacking a full delivery through mid-wicket for four. The India skipper is up to 46 (57). There was a missed stumping when she was on 10, remember.

Alana King has been lucky there to have not done herself anymore damage. Hopefully it is just a numb knee.

  3. Ind 153-2published at 25.2 overs

Ouch. That looked like a painful one for Alana King, jamming her knee in the turf while diving to save a boundary.

She does indeed save two runs but ruins her trousers in the process. What is of greater importance than her laundry bill, however, is that King is back on her feet.

India are struggling to find the boundary but you cannot forget about the singles as well. They are important to keep this ticking over.

Thanks Sam. India need 190 runs from 25 overs. Still advantage Australia, I'd say, but what do I know?

    Target 339

Off-spinner Ash Gardner is back on to bowl just her second over.

This India pair are looking more and more comfortable but they are kept to just four singles from it.

The game could hardly be more delicately poised halfway through the case. To take you through to what could be a thrilling conclusion, here's Elizabeth Botcherby.

Alyssa Healy is showing a lot of discomfort here. Do not take the gloves off, whatever you do!

  8. Ind 145-2published at 24 overs

    Target 339

    Ouch!

The last ball of the over leaps up from just back of a length, beats Jemimah Rodrigues and hits Alyssa Healy right on the end of the finger.

UltraEdge shows there was a nick but I really don't think that can go down as a drop. Just a single.

It's another over when an Australia bowler comes back well after a first-ball boundary but India are doing what they have to to stop the required rate getting out of hand.

  9. Ind 142-2published at 23.1 overs

    Target 339

Another over starts with a boundary!

The returning Kim Garth offers just the merest hint of width and that is enough for Jemimah Rodrigues to carve the ball behind square to the fence.

Australia are just getting a little bit sloppy in the field in the last few overs which is totally unlike them.

Another misfield, it's getting a bit messy from Australia. Is the pressure starting to tell?

This one costs a single and it's six from Alana King's fifth over.

  12. Ind 136-2published at 22.1 overs

    Target 339

At what stage does this partnership start to worry Australia?

Harmanpreet Kaur is beginning to get into her stride as she skips down to Alana King, turns it into a full toss and whips the ball through mid-wicket for four.

That missed stumping is looking increasingly costly...

Sophie Molineux is bowling a little bit tighter and more at the stumps. Sometimes you can try to go too straight and it can slip down the leg-side.

A good over that for India.

Harmanpreet Kaur wants to play a big shot and take control of the game.

You get the feeling she does not want to take too many risks because she knows how crucial her wicket is.

  15. Ind 132-2published at 22 overs

    Target 339

A rare misfield from Australia allows India to pinch a second when it should just have been one for Harmanpreet Kaur.

Every run is important at this stage and this one gets the India skipper back on strike to open the face and guide the next ball past backward point for four.

'Brilliant' diving attempt from Litchfield not enough as Rodrigues dropped on 52

Harsh to call it a drop when it would have been catch of the tournament if Phoebe Litchfield had taken it - but it will go down as one!

Driven in the air by Jemimah Rodrigues and Litchfield dives full stretch to her right at extra cover.

She gets a hand to it which is more than most would have managed but can only tip it round the post.

That would have been a huge wicket for Australia but this dangerous partnership continues for India.

Strong sweep from Jemimah Rodrigues and it gets to the boundary to bring up her half-century.

A much needed boundary for India. They have been granted a gift by Sophie Molineux.

Jemimah Rodrigues is always able to time it for four when she can, she never snatches at it.

  20. Ind 116-2published at 20 overs

    Target 339

Jemimah Rodrigues pounces on a drag down from Sophie Molineux and thumps it through point on the cut.

Just one more from the over, though, and the required rate is up to 7.43 now.
