  1. Ind 111-2published at 19 overs

    Target 339

Five dot balls after the boundary to start. Good comeback from Alana King.

With a bit of rain around, it's worth noting we're also one over away from having enough for a complete game.

Hopefully we'll be able to get full innings in but if not, after the next over it'll be down to DLS rather than doing to a reserve day.

You can sense Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues are slightly frustrated at not finding the boundary much against the spin.

Can they be inventive and manipulate the field to keep the run-rate moving?

  3. Ind 111-2published at 18.1 overs

    Target 339

Leg stump full toss from Alana King and Harmanpreet Kaur finds the gap at mid-wicket for a handy boundary to start the over.

  4. Ind 107-2published at 18 overs

    Target 339

Five wides from Sophie Molineux take India into three figures.

After that India are content to push the ball around for singles and still take eight from the over.

Alana King is not getting any real grip off the surface, as much as we have seen her get in this tournament.

This is a nice partnership building for India. Can they keep up with the run-rate?

The rain is falling lightly but it is not causing any threat as yet in the umpire's view.

  7. Ind 99-2published at 17 overs

    Target 339

    Uh oh.

It is suddenly raining quite hard in Navi Mumbai but the umpires are keeping the players out there for now.

Five from Alana King's second over and I think the rain has got a bit lighter.

  8. Ind 94-2published at 16 overs

    Target 339

Super shot from Harmanpreet Kaur, drilling the ball for four past mid-on. Great timing.

Annabel Sutherland has been so impressive with the ball in this World Cup but she's been expensive so far today with 22 from her first three overs.

Alana King has been fantastic and has been the glue to hold the middle overs together. It will be interesting to see how India attack her - Harmanpreet Kaur will likely try to sweep her.

How big a moment might that be?

Big let off for India and Harmanpreet Kaur.

But Australia will have to stew on it for a while longer before moving on because it's drinks.

There's an impressive light show going on during the break in play at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy.

  11. Missed stumping - Harmanpreet on 10published at 15 overs

    Ind 88-2 | Target 339

Alana King, fresh from taking seven-for in Australia's last group game, is into the attack.

And she should have a wicket to end her first over!

Harmanpreet Kaur skips down and tries to whip through the leg side, misses and should be stumped by a mile.

However, Alyssa Healy fumbles it and Harmanpreet gets back before her Australia counterpart can gather and take off the bails.

In 50-over cricket, you have to keep the run-rate ticking over. Both players need to preserve their wicket for the next 10 or 15 overs - they cannot afford another one to fall.

  14. Ind 83-2published at 14 overs

    Target 339

For the second over running, Annabel Sutherland starts with a loose delivery.

This time it's short and wide and Jemimah Rodrigues crashes it for four through backward point.

Harmanpreet Kaur gets on strike and plays out a couple more dot balls before breaking the shackles with a drive for four.

The way hung in the air but was just wide of the extra cover fielder. With that boundary, she moves to seven from 16 balls.

When you are playing spinners, you can't let them bowl with mid-off and mid-on up. You have to take a chance and dance down the track.

Harmanpreet Kaur cannot play too many dots because that puts all of the pressure on Jemimah Rodrigues to get runs.

  16. Ind 74-2published at 13 overs

    Target 339

Very good over from Sophie Molineux with just a single to start it before she reels off five dot balls to Harmanpreet Kaur.

The last ball skids on and Harmanpreet has to jab the bat down quickly to keep it out as she plays off the back foot.

Jemimah Rodrigues always looks busy but India need more intent from their skipper. Harmanpreet Kaur needs to take a lot more responsibility here.

There is not a lot separating the scores now so India are still on course.

  18. Ind 73-2published at 12 overs

    Target 339

Three singles follow that first-ball boundary as India continue to move along at a decent pace.

The required rate is exactly seven-an-over. Not easy against Australia but definitely doable.

  19. Ind 70-2published at 11.1 overs

    Target 339

Jemimah Rodrigues looks in good touch here.

She advances to Annabel Sutherland's first ball, turns it into a full toss and whips it through backward square leg for four.

Harmanpreet Kaur is under immense pressure now. She missed some tricks with the bowling changes and could have used her spinners a bit more.
