  1. Ind 66-2published at 11 overs

    Target 339

Left-arm spinner Sophie Molineux is into the attack in the first over out of the powerplay.

There's a bit of confusion fourth ball as Jemimah Rodrigues drives into the covers and wants a single.

Harmanpreet Kaur didn't respond and had the fielder picked it up cleanly, there may have been a run out chance.

Not taking the single works out for Rodrigues, though, as she cuts the next ball away for four.

  2. Ind 60-2published at 10 overs

    Target 339

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur is in at four for India, who had been going well before that wicket.

However, having struck early and late in the powerplay, Australia look to be in a very good position as they defend 338.

That is unbelievable. Smriti Mandhana's body language was very unsure - she had a feeling that she had touched it slightly.

That is a shame as she was in great nick.

Tiny spike but a huge moment in this semi-final!

A leg-side strangle sees the back of Smriti Mandhana - what a review from Australia. The crowd is stunned into silence.

It really was a very small spike as ball passed the bat but no doubt it was a spike. Saying that, Mandhana shakes her head as if she thinks otherwise.

Good take down leg from Alyssa Healy and she was convinced by Kim Garth to review. The bowler's powers of persuasion have earned her a second wicket.

Smriti Mandhana looked very worried at this going upstairs. She is shaking her head.

  6. Australia reviewpublished at 9.2 overs

    Ind 60-1

What have we here? Has Smriti Mandhana glanced the ball behind down the leg side?

Australia have gone upstairs for a caught behind. Alyssa Healy wasn't convinced but Kim Garth appealed immediately.

    We shall see.

That is magnificent to watch. Smriti Mandhana looks so elegant when she plays shots like that.

You wonder why she tries to smash the ball at times, she is such a good timer of the ball.

  8. Ind 59-1published at 9.1 overs

    Target 339

    Sumptuous shot from Smriti Mandhana.

Australia have just taken the deep cover fielder out and Mandhana takes full advantage, driving gloriously through the off side for four.

Great use of the feet by Jemimah Rodrigues, advancing to Ash Gardner and drilling the ball through the covers on the drive.

She goes again a couple of balls later but doesn't time the shot quite as well and has to settle for two this time.

The crowd is on their feet - they are loving it. You don't want to be walking back to the pavilion after playing that shot, you want to execute it well and Jemimah Rodrigues did.

  12. Ind 49-1published at 8 overs

    Target 339

Kim Garth was doing a good job of keeping Jemimah Rodrigues tied down by bowling stump-to-stump, offering no width whatsoever.

However, Rodrigues knows what is coming now and moves across her stumps and ramps smartly for four.

You can see a massive difference in approach in the field in Australia and India. Australia come onto the ball a lot quicker and throw the ball hard to the wicketkeeper with purpose.

It makes a lot of difference for you as the bowler.

  14. Ind 44-1published at 7 overs

    Target 339

Four dot balls start the over before Smriti Mandhana effortlessly guides the ball between point and backward point for four.

She punches just forward of point to end the over and it looks like four more all the way, until Ellyse Perry appears, charging round the boundary, and dives to flick the ball back.

    Two runs saved.

Alyssa Healy is not allowing the India batters to come out of the crease and get pace on the ball. Can they sit themselves back to create more length?

It is a puzzle for them to work out.

  16. Ind 38-1published at 6 overs

    Target 339

Excellent over for India as Jemimah Rodrigues whips the ball through the leg side for four.

In the air for a while but never in danger of being caught. Great timing again.

Kim Garth ends the over with three dot balls but still 11 from it for India.

When you are chasing a total like this, you have to not look too far ahead of yourself.

These two have not got going yet but they have got to understand that they are building a platform.

  19. Ind 27-1published at 5 overs

    Target 339

    Goodness me, that is close!

Horrible heave across the line from Smriti Mandhana and she misses the ball by a mile and is lucky to see it just miss off stump.

Not only that, the ball also gets away from Alyssa Healy stood up to the stumps and runs away for four byes.

Jemimah Rodrigues muscles the ball through point for two to end the over.

Smriti Mandhana is one of those batters who frustrates you as a bowler because she looks like she is barely hitting the ball and yet it flies to the boundary.
