Tuesday's Indian Premier League action is a meeting between Punjab Kings and defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders.

Whoever wins will join the group of four teams that are level on eight points at the top of the table.

It is also an intriguing encounter for Shreyas Iyer. The India international led KKR to the title last year but was then let go by the franchise prior to the auction.

He was then snapped up by Punjab Kings, appointed their skipper and has been one of the form batters in the tournament so far.

Iyer has won the toss and decided to bat. The Kings have handed IPL debuts to Aussie internationals Josh Inglis and Xavier Bartlett.

Moeen Ali has been left out by KKR.
