Welsh cyclist Scott Davies has successfully defended his Under-23 time trial title at the British Championships in Lincolnshire.

Carmarthen-born Davies, 19, won in a time of 47 minutes 20.32 seconds to retain the jersey he won in 2014.

Fellow Welshman Owain Doull finished six seconds behind Davies in second place with Tao Geoghegan Hart third.

Davies joins Alex Dowsett and Sam Harrison in winning back-to-back Under-23 time trial titles.
